No one can do everything – but everyone can do something
At Arom-dekor Kemi, we believe that real change begins when someone chooses to act. Our belief is simple but powerful: No one can do everything - but everyone can do something.
Be the change mascot
As a colorful symbol of this commitment, we have created our own Be the change mascot. With his friendly smile, positive energy and warm expression, he spreads joy wherever he appears – and reminds us of the power of doing something good. You will see him when we present our initiatives and collaborations, as a living ambassador for change.
By supporting projects that focus on education, security, community and hope, we want to show that change is possible – for both companies and individuals. Be the change is our promise to contribute, have an impact and make a difference – together.
With our tagline ”Be the change” we want to bring together and highlight all our sponsorship work – from support for Barncancerfonden, BRIS and local sports clubs to our long-term involvement in the Point Pedro network in Sri Lanka. Whatever the size of our contribution, our goal is the same: to contribute to a better tomorrow!

Barncancerfonden
Barncancerfonden works to fight childhood cancer and ensure that affected children and their parents receive the care and support they need. We want to help change this, and therefore support childhood cancer research

Team Rynkeby
Team Rynkeby is a European charity project that raises money every year for children with cancer and other illnesses. Participants are organized into different teams that cycle to Paris together. Team Rynkeby was founded in Denmark in 2002, when 11 recreational cyclists with connections to the Danish juice producer Rynkeby Foods A/S decided to cycle to Paris to watch the finish of the Tour de France.

BRIS
Bris is an organization that works to strengthen children’s rights and improve their lives, based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is there for all children under 18 who need support, particularly those in vulnerable situations. Bris offers safe and accessible support based on each child’s needs. At the same time, Bris works to ensure that children’s voices are heard in society and that decision-makers take children’s rights into account.

Project update published on 9 April 2026
Project Point Pedro comes to an end after long-term efforts and strong results
The purpose has been achieved
After more than two decades of work for people in Sri Lanka, Project Point Pedro is now coming to an end. The decision follows the achievement of the project’s original purpose – to give children, women and families better opportunities for a secure and independent future.
The tsunami disaster was the starting point
The project began in 2005 in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami disaster and has since contributed housing, education, microloans and support for women’s cooperatives, among other things. Over the years, many children have had the opportunity to attend school and several have gone on to higher education, while women have been able to earn their own living. As more and more families are now able to stand on their own feet, the board has decided to end the project in its current form.
The project is being wound down responsibly and with care
Support for young people who have begun higher education will be completed, and support for some families is planned to be phased out gradually. – This is an ending filled with pride and gratitude; together, we have helped make a real difference. Thanks to the commitment of our sponsors and donors, together we have helped change many people’s lives, says the board. The decision was made at the annual meeting on 17 March 2026, and the project formally ends on 30 June 2026.
Since 2019, Arom-dekor Kemi has been a sponsor of the project and contributed to its long-term work. We are proud to have been part of the journey and to see the project through to its conclusion.
