1940
Arom-dekor Kemi is founded
Arom-dekor Kemi is founded, initially producing flavorings and decorations for patisseries. Much has changed since then.2008
Christian Lundell acquires the company
The company is acquired in 2008 by Christian Lundell, who has extensive experience in the chemical industry. Under his leadership, the company grows significantly and today handles more than 35,000 cubic meters of chemical products per year.2012
New factory in Lockryd
In 2012, Arom-dekor Kemi moves to new premises and a new factory in Lockryd. In connection with the move, Arom-dekor Kemi also acquires Calvén Trading AB.2016
Part of Vilokan Group
In 2016, Vilokan acquires 80% of the shares in Arom-dekor Kemi. Vilokan Group is owned by Johan Brandberg, Lars Rosell, Karl-Henrik Jönsson and the family-owned investment company Gullspång Invest AB. Christian Lundell continues as CEO and retains a 20% ownership stake in Arom-dekor Kemi.2017
Acquires 80% of Norway's Merco AS
In 2017, Arom-dekor Kemi AB acquires 80% of the shares in the Norwegian company Merco AS. Merco is one of Norway's leading suppliers of AdBlue® and cleaning products for heavy transport.2019
Operations begin in Finland
Arom-dekor Kemi AB acquires 70% of the shares in the Finnish company AdChemicals Oy. AdChemicals Oy purchases an industrial property in Kouvola, and construction of an AdBlue® production facility begins. It is completed at the turn of 2018/2019.2021
10,000 m² of floor space
After 314 days of intensive construction, Arom-dekor Kemi's approximately 3,500 m² extension is completed in 2021. Total floor space is now approximately 10,000 m², comprising production, warehouse and office areas. The building also houses a fully equipped gym of more than 150 m² for everyone who works there.2026
