1. Choose the right product for the dirt you want to remove
Choosing the right products for your wash is essential. Different products are needed depending on what has made your vehicle dirty; there is a big difference between removing insects and removing asphalt. What determines which product you should use is how acidic or alkaline it is, and this also determines how well it works on different types of dirt. Below, you will find a clearer guide to which product to use for which type of dirt.
2. Always start with a dry vehicle
For the best results, always start the washing process on a dry surface. This allows the right detergent to adhere properly and remove the dirt thoroughly. If the vehicle is wet, a cleaner intended for use on a dry surface may not work as effectively.
3. Always use clean accessories
Always use clean, high-quality accessories and make sure that brushes, sponges and cloths are clean. Dirty accessories containing grit or similar particles can scratch the paintwork, and old dirt on brushes, sponges or cloths can reduce the quality of your results. Always take care to clean your accessories.
4. Rinse the vehicle "the wrong way round"
Dirt from the vehicle runs off a clean surface most easily, which means that, for the best results, you should rinse your vehicle "the wrong way round". Simply rinse it from the bottom up. This prevents the dirt from sticking to the vehicle again and gives you the best cleaning performance and results.
5. Dry the vehicle
When you have finished washing, we recommend drying the car with, for example, a rubber squeegee or chamois leather. This prevents limescale spots from forming on the vehicle as the water dries and gives you a cleaner, better-looking result.
