Recycling glycol reduces the CO2 footprint
Recycled MPG can be used as a raw material in its final form or to produce new products such as AdProLine® Maringlykol, AdProLine® Propylene IH VVS and AdProLine® KG Propylene IH.
We think circularly and produce using purified, recycled glycol
Innovative and well-proven environmental technology makes it possible to purify and recycle used de-icing fluid. In our announcement of 15 May 2023, we described how fluid from Swedavia’s ten airports in Sweden and two airports in Norway was collected and transported to a facility at Arlanda for final purification. Recycling creates a circular flow in which a valuable resource can be used again.
It is this recycled glycol that we use as a raw material in those of our products that contain recycled glycol, from used fluid to a new product in a circular cycle.

De-icing products have a significant environmental impact
- Glycol is produced from natural gas, which is a finite fossil raw material
- Glycol consumes large quantities of oxygen during biodegradation
- The breakdown of glycol in nature can lead to a lack of oxygen (anaerobic conditions) in the soil
- Contamination of waterways

We test everything
You can confidently buy products made from recycled MPG from us. All MPG undergoes thorough, continuous testing to guarantee the highest quality at all times.

Return used glycol or alcohol-based heat-transfer fluid to us in Sweden
We want as much as possible to be recycled. If you have used glycol or alcohol-based heat-transfer fluid, we can take it back for recycling. Contact us on 0320 - 605 00 or info@aromdekor.se and we will explain how it works.
